Job Title: Registered Nurse RN

At the University of Florida Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse RN to join our team in the Emergency Department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality medical services.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse RN will work under the direction of the director/charge nurse to utilize the nursing process, facilitate patient care, and make nursing assessments and diagnoses. You will formulate care plans based on the diagnosis and implement and evaluate the plan of care.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department
  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, and develop care plans
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree or higher degree in nursing
  • Florida Registered Nurse License
  • BLS ACLS PALS NIH
  • A minimum of 2 years ED experience, or a minimum of 1 full year in the ED with 1 full year in another hospital care area

Acceptable Experience:

  • Any critical care nursing or Paramedic experience on a 1:1 basis
