Job Overview

The QSAC Day Habilitation program is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team. As a DSP, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities to achieve their goals and improve their overall quality of life.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires working Monday through Friday, 8:30 am - 4:00 pm, with a competitive salary range of $17.00-$18.00 per hour. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to providing person-centered supports and upholding the values of the National Alliance for Direct Support Professionals (NADSP) Code of Ethics.

Responsibilities
  • Safety and Support: Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of individuals; safeguard and respect confidentiality; assist individuals to develop relationships and promote their well-being.
  • Administrative and Company Policies: Commit to company values and policies; uphold NADSP standards; maintain required certifications; report problems and concerns promptly.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED is required; an associate's degree or higher is preferred.
  • Experience working with people with intellectual/developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
