KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare essential shipping documents such as bills of lading, customs declarations, invoices, and other freight-related paperwork.
  • Conduct integration testing to align with NPAA operational requirements.
  • Oversee the loading and unloading processes of transportation vehicles.
  • Assist in the physical loading/unloading of trucks as needed.
  • Inspect and verify the quality and quantity of received items against accompanying documentation.
  • Organize the distribution and shipping of products efficiently.
  • Coordinate transportation services to expedite, trace, or return non-compliant merchandise.
  • Identify and segregate defective materials in accordance with the RGA process.
  • Maintain precise documentation, record-keeping, and inventory management while implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Manage and coordinate traffic at loading docks.
  • Communicate effectively with Customer Service Representatives and Sales teams regarding expedited orders.
  • Conduct thorough checks of parts and instruct operators on the proper movement of materials to designated staging areas.
  • Ensure electronic acknowledgment of received quantities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Proficient in SAP software.
  • Certification in DOT and IATA regulations.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or a related field.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to operate a forklift and pass certification requirements.
