This position will oversee all facets of Financial Operations, reporting directly to the Finance Director of the Business Unit, with a secondary reporting line to the Commercial Director of the Business Unit.


The Financial Operations Manager will play a strategic role in making data-informed decisions regarding new business opportunities and will be responsible for the tactical financial forecasting of revenue.


Accountability for ensuring robust controls and reviews will be essential to guarantee the profitable expansion of the Business Unit.


Key Responsibilities:
Manage a team of three finance professionals.

Evaluate customer proposals to assess the viability of new business quotations.

Lead and execute the review and approval process for quotes.

Ensure adherence to the Delegation of Authority.

Prepare and present financials for customer quotations.

Conduct budgeting and revenue margin forecasting.

Monitor and report on variations to the Budget and Forecast.

Actively engage in the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process.

Support the development of standards.

Provide financial assistance to the Commercial Director and team.

Perform additional duties as required.

Essential Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution.

A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.

This role requires access to controlled technology as defined by the Export Administration Regulations and/or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations. Candidates must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, or eligible for the necessary authorizations from the relevant government agency.


Preferred Qualifications:
Strong technical expertise with proven leadership capabilities and the ability to inspire others.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

High interpersonal skills to motivate and influence colleagues, including those not directly under supervision.

Previous experience in quoting new business and collaborating with commercial teams.
