About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to join our team at Wabash National. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of finance for our business segment or function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships with key leaders in sales, operations, engineering, HR, IT, and other departments to drive strategic growth.
  • Lead financial processes, including monthly close, forecasting, and internal control, to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Analyze current and past trends for key performance indicators, including revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and capital expenditures, to identify areas for improvement.
  • Monitor KPIs and provide insightful analysis to highlight trends and causes of unexpected variances.
  • Provide quarterly and monthly financial reports and ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support business decision-making.
  • Implement and improve existing business intelligence tools and dashboard reports to enhance financial visibility and insights.
  • Provide strong leadership and guidance on financial modeling, planning, and analysis to support strategic initiatives.
  • Analyze complex financial information to provide accurate financial recommendations and insights.
  • Engage and partner with the business to deliver insightful analysis on key focus areas and communicate key business issues and opportunities in a clear and concise manner.
  • Build and develop business presentations for senior management to ensure effective communication of financial information.
  • Provide consistent, timely, and relevant information to key company stakeholders, including the CEO and CFO.
  • Partner with segment or function and corporate management on expansion plans to provide financial leadership and insight.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial management.
  • Proficiency in communicating both verbally and in written format.
  • Familiarity with analyzing data and knowledge of corporate financials, public company accounting (GAAP & SOX), and regulatory issues.
  • Experience in manufacturing (preferred).
