Job Title: Business Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Operations Manager to join our team at Developmental Disabilities Institute. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our micro-business activities and developing a comprehensive business plan to drive growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a business plan that captures and promotes all micro-businesses under one brand
  • Promote existing brands and introduce new products to the market
  • Research and develop marketing opportunities and plans to achieve marketing goals
  • Collaborate with the Director of Communications and Government Relations for marketing and branding
  • Interface with programs to identify pre-vocational business activities and develop training programs
  • Provide analytics on business activities and forecast future opportunities
  • Manage online-based businesses, including day-to-day operations and metrics
  • Supervise and train employees in customer service, store maintenance, and product promotions
  • Maintain proper inventory levels, ensure stocking, and implement purchasing plans
  • Implement cross-training of employees to maintain productivity
  • Manage controllable costs to maintain profitability
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proactive in-store planning skills
  • Excellent organization, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Understanding and knowledge of sales and marketing
  • Ability to operate basic business software programs
  • Knowledge of business accounting principles and pricing research/comparison
  • Knowledge of data analysis and report writing
