Job Overview

The Boeing BGS Program Protection Team is in search of a Product Security Analyst to join our dedicated team of Platform Product Security Analysts. This team plays a crucial role in defining product security standards in collaboration with industry and governmental entities, proactively addressing needs and implementing leading-edge solutions.

This role is integral to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Systems Integration, Test and Readiness (SITR) contract.

Our organization is currently looking for candidates across various experience levels, including Mid-Level and Senior Analysts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Focused on Platform Cyber Security, you will contribute to the analysis of requirements, risk management, and information systems.
  • Drive the integration of security and resilience into products and services throughout their lifecycle, ensuring compliance with all relevant certifications and customer specifications.
  • Collaborate with government agencies, clients, suppliers, and industry stakeholders to identify risks and enhance security standards and requirements.
  • Conduct research, data collection, interpretation, testing, and analysis of technical information for system-level product security concepts in projected operational settings to maximize effectiveness throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Execute comprehensive product security risk assessments, attack surface evaluations, vulnerability analyses, and security audits of various applications and systems.
  • Oversee the analysis, triage, aggregation, escalation, and reporting of critical product security and anti-tamper data for potential security incidents.
  • Lead incident response coordination efforts.
  • Perform complex trend analysis.
  • Prepare and deliver technical reports and presentations to senior management.
  • Identify compliance and security deficiencies, working closely with system owners and stakeholders to address them.

Note: Some domestic travel may be necessary.

Work Environment: This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work at the designated location.

Security Clearance: This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, necessitating U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance is required post-start.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher.
  • Current Security+ (Sec+) certification or other IAT level II DoD 8140 Approved Baseline Certification.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in assessing security maturity using the NIST Cyber Security Framework.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Over 10 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Active Security Clearance.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent certification.
  • Experience with SCAP scans, ACAS scans, Nessus Scans, or similar technical vulnerability assessments.
  • Familiarity with DOD or other classified government systems.
  • Experience operating and utilizing machines.
  • Proven ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple projects across various locations.
  • Experience in laboratory and/or production environments.
  • Proven track record of providing services to clients.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Typical Education/Experience:

Mid-Level (Level 3): Education and experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g., Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Senior (Level 4): Education and experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g., Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Relocation: Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Candidates must reside in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
