This role is integral to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Systems Integration, Test and Readiness (SITR) contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to Platform Cyber Security efforts by analyzing requirements, managing risks, and overseeing information systems.
  • Drive the incorporation of security and resilience into products and services throughout their lifecycle, ensuring compliance with all relevant certifications and customer specifications.
  • Engage with government entities, clients, suppliers, and industry partners to pinpoint risks and enhance security standards and regulations for programs and interfacing systems.
  • Lead the research, collection, interpretation, testing, and analysis of technical data related to system-level product security concepts in projected operational environments, optimizing effectiveness throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Conduct thorough product security risk assessments, attack surface evaluations, vulnerability analyses, and security audits of various applications and application stacks.
  • Oversee the analysis, triage, aggregation, escalation, and reporting of pertinent product security and anti-tamper data, identifying attack indicators and potential security breaches.
  • Coordinate incident response efforts.
  • Perform complex trend analyses.
  • Prepare and deliver technical reports and presentations to senior management.
  • Identify compliance and security deficiencies, collaborating with system owners and stakeholders to address them.

Additional Information:

Some domestic travel may be necessary.

Work Environment: This position is expected to be 100% onsite.

Security Clearance: Candidates must be able to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher.
  • Current Security+ (Sec+) certification or equivalent IAT level II DoD 8140 certification.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience assessing security maturity using the NIST Cyber Security Framework.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience.
  • Active Security Clearance.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent certification.
  • Experience with SCAP scans, ACAS scans, Nessus scans, or similar vulnerability assessments.
  • Familiarity with DOD or classified government systems.
  • Experience with operating machinery.
  • Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple projects across various locations.
  • Experience in lab and/or production environments.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
