In this role, we seek a compassionate and committed Behavioral Support Specialist to enhance our vibrant team.
Core Responsibilities:- Executing behavior intervention strategies developed by the BCBA to meet students' behavioral goals.
- Documenting and tracking student behavior data and their advancement towards established objectives.
- Providing direct support and mentorship to students in both individual and group contexts.
- Collaborating closely with educators, support personnel, and families to ensure uniform behavior management practices across various settings.
- High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is required.
- Previous experience assisting individuals with autism or related developmental challenges is beneficial.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Able to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- Exhibited patience, empathy, and a sincere passion for supporting individuals with special needs.
