We are seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at Regal Rexnord. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and safety regulations.
Responsibilities:- Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
- Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
- Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
- Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
- Circuit breaker corrective maintenance.
- Good knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems.
- Good knowledge of various test equipment.
- Proven experience as an electrician.
- Experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems.
- Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g., wire strippers, voltmeter, etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints.
- Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Good physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight if necessary.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Diploma from a trade school or successful completion of apprenticeship required.
- E1 or E2 certification preferred.
- Valid state electrician license.
- OSHA certification preferred.
- Work in a variety of environments including outdoors, in crawl spaces, and at heights.
- Physically able to lift and carry heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces.
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
