Position Overview

As a Relationship Officer, you will play a pivotal role in fostering and nurturing member relationships to fulfill their financial aspirations while delivering exceptional service.   • Guide and mentor staff on operational processes, identifying opportunities for cross-selling and achieving targets.

  • Utilize consultative techniques to identify and fulfill members' financial needs through relationship-building initiatives.
  • Engage in community events and volunteer opportunities to strengthen relationships and promote BluPeak's mission.
  • Conduct proactive outreach to members, ensuring their needs are met and fostering loyalty.
  • Assist members in establishing accounts and utilizing digital services to enhance their banking experience.
  • Manage various administrative tasks, including file maintenance and account verifications, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Facilitate the loan application process, ensuring a seamless experience for members.
  • Monitor credit card applications and follow up as necessary to meet performance metrics.
  • Ensure timely completion of all projects and responsibilities while maintaining high standards of service.
  • Promote and cross-sell products and services to meet member needs and achieve strategic objectives.
  • Stay informed about products, services, and compliance requirements related to banking operations.
  • Support team members in achieving collective goals and maintaining service continuity.
  • Adhere to security and privacy practices to protect member information.
  • Contribute to the overall growth and profitability of the branch while meeting performance metrics.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED; 3+ years of experience in consumer loan origination preferred, along with relevant banking experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor are essential.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial documents and respond to inquiries effectively.
  • Proficient in creating reports and presentations for various audiences.
  • Familiarity with loan origination systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Notary certification is a plus.
  • Active registration with the National Mortgage Licensing Service (NMLS) is required for Mortgage Loan Originators.
  • Availability to work during branch operational hours, including weekends.

Work Environment
This position requires on-site presence at the branch location.

Compensation
Hourly wage ranges from $24 to $30.
