Position Overview
As an Acute Care Communication Specialist at Cvhealth, you will leverage evidence-based methodologies to significantly enhance patient outcomes.

Your core duties will involve assessing and providing treatment for individuals diagnosed with conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injuries, head and neck cancers, and various progressive neurological disorders.

This position allows for collaborative engagement with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal and evidence-driven practices for our patients.

Your Responsibilities as an Acute Care Communication Specialist
  • Provide evidence-based, high-quality care to facilitate patient transitions back home or to the next level of care
  • Develop timely and individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs
  • Foster positive relationships with patients, their families, fellow clinicians, and other team members
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with hospital staff, including physicians, case managers, nurses, social workers, and dietitians
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
  • State Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
  • Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association
