Charge Nurse

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Charge Nurse to join our team at Citizens Medical Center. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing staff and operations in the Acute Medical Surgical Unit. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our patients receive the highest level of care and that our staff is equipped to provide it.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide oversight and guidance to the nursing staff in the Acute Medical Surgical Unit.
• Ensure adequate staffing, supplies, and equipment are available to meet the needs of our patients.
• Assist in providing direct nursing care to patients in the assigned area.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care coordination.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes and staff satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• 1 year RN experience in a similar setting.
• Current licensure, certification, or registration to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• CPR certification.
