Position Overview:
The Pediatric Movement Center is seeking dedicated Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join our team. We are a therapist-owned outpatient clinic focused on delivering exceptional care to children up to 21 years of age. Role Responsibilities:
As a Speech Language Pathologist at PMC, you will:
  • Assess and treat children with speech, language, voice, fluency, and feeding/swallowing disorders.
  • Collect client background and medical history for diagnostic purposes.
  • Interpret speech and language test results to develop effective treatment plans.
  • Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and develop home programs for clients.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
  • A Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) or in the process of obtaining it.
  • An active Maryland license to practice speech therapy or the ability to obtain one.
  • A minimum of one year of clinical experience in a pediatric setting is preferred.

Physical Requirements:
This role requires moderate physical effort, including standing, walking, and occasional lifting of patients and equipment.
