Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Essentia Health. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing care for patients in the areas of speech, language, cognition, and swallowing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluation and Treatment Planning: Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patients' communication and swallowing needs, and develop personalized treatment plans to address these needs.
  • Therapy Services: Provide individual and group therapy sessions to patients, using evidence-based practices and techniques to improve communication and swallowing skills.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on communication and swallowing strategies, and provide guidance on how to maintain and improve these skills.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress, and report to healthcare teams as needed.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree from an accredited speech-language pathology program.
  • Licensure/Certification: Current registration/license to practice speech-language pathology in the state of practice.
Work Environment

This is a Monday-Friday position with no call or weekend requirements. You will be working in a dynamic and supportive team environment, with opportunities for professional growth and development.
