Key Responsibilities:
- Provide empathetic pharmacy consulting services to patients, addressing their medication-related concerns and needs.
- Offer preventive and clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and patient outcome services.
- Ensure prescribed medications are accurately compounded, reviewed, dispensed, and verified according to regulatory guidelines and company policies.
- Manage an efficient pharmacy workflow, improve pharmacy financials, and enhance patient experience.
- Manage pharmacy staff performance and engagement, ensuring the professional development of pharmacy staff.
Requirements:
- BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D Degree from an accredited educational institution.
- Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
- Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
- At least 1 year pharmacy experience, including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software, and technology systems, and insurance billing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Supervisory experience planning, organizing, and directing the work of pharmacy staff.
- At least 6 months pharmacy experience with Walgreen Co.
