Job Summary

As a Team Coordinator RN in the Intensive Care Unit at Sentara CarePlex Hospital, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care services. This position is responsible for supervising patient care services staff, providing technical and clinical guidance, and assisting with the development and monitoring of the departmental budget. You will also coordinate the purchasing and payroll processes, serve as a resource to team members, and perform work assignments as needed to provide appropriate coverage and mentor staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise patient care services staff to ensure patient safety and high-quality outcomes
  • Provide technical and clinical guidance to team members
  • Assist with the development and monitoring of the departmental budget
  • Coordinate purchasing and payroll processes
  • Serve as a resource to team members
  • Perform work assignments as needed to provide appropriate coverage and mentor staff

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • At least 2 years of nursing experience
  • Nursing leadership experience
