Diesel Mechanic Specialist

About the Role
">This position involves performing routine maintenance and repairs on transport trucks, trailers, and pickups. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring that all vehicles are in good working condition, adhering to state regulations and industry standards.

- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections;">
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with diesel engines, electrical systems, and other vehicle components;">
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure that all vehicles meet regulatory requirements;">
- Participate in on-call rotation schedule and respond to emergency situations when necessary;">
- Operate fork lift and company assigned pickup as required.">
Requirements
">To be successful in this role, you will need:
Qualifications

- A high school diploma or equivalent;">
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field;">
- Intermediate mechanical aptitude and familiarity with diesel and gasoline engines, electronics, and testing equipment;">
- Basic math skills to take measurements, change speedometers, read manuals, and perform service work;">
- A valid Class C operator driver's license to operate company pickup trucks; CDL license is preferred;">
- Applicable safety training, licenses, and certifications for the job assignment.">
