Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Bruckner Truck & Equipment. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex issues with trucks and their related equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and other failures/breakdowns of trucks and their related equipment.
  • Perform disassembly, repair, and reassembly of truck engines, transmissions, carrier assemblies, clutches, brakes, electrical systems, and other components.
  • Use precision instruments, shop machines, and technical publications to complete work accurately and efficiently.
  • Write detailed descriptions of all work performed using the dealer management system.
  • Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with OSHA and Bruckner's rules and regulations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma desired.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a mechanic.
  • Ability to read and understand technical publications, including service manuals and service bulletins.
  • Ability to interact well with customers, vendors, and co-workers in a positive and constructive manner.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds to the waist and 25 pounds to the shoulder.
