Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive patient care, including history and physical examinations, ordering and interpreting tests, and prescribing medications.
- Lead and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective patient care delivery.
- Develop and implement department goals, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Act as a role model and thought leader, fostering growth and development of students and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in quality improvement efforts, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Current State of Illinois Physician Assistant Licensure or Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) Licensure.
- Current Certification from National Certification Commission for Physician Assistants (NCCPA) or national certifying organization for Nurse Practitioners.
- Master's or Doctorate degree in nursing or related field.
- Strong work ethic, interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
