Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough research on new accounts to establish a compelling case for the value that InfluxDB can deliver to their DevOps, IoT, AI, or Data Science initiatives.
- Generate a high volume of quality outreach to senior-level contacts within your designated target accounts, aiming to secure qualified business meetings for your Account Executives.
- Engage with prospects through various channels including email, phone, social media, and video communications.
- Effectively communicate how InfluxDB can significantly benefit new clients.
- Guide prospects from initial interest to becoming qualified leads.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Sales Development role.
- Proven track record of being in the top 10% of performance metrics.
- A strong passion for technology coupled with the ability to master sales tools.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging with all organizational levels.
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding quotas for new business meetings.
- Familiarity with tools such as Outreach, SalesLoft, Lavender, Lusha, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Experience utilizing AI tools like ChatGPT or Google Gemini for crafting persuasive prospecting emails.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with a strong desire to succeed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in selling open-source or SaaS solutions.
- Background in startup or growth-stage technology companies.
- Prior training in MEDDIC or Command of the Message methodologies.
- Knowledge of NoSQL data technologies or modern data platforms.
- Experience in selling enterprise management solutions such as Systems Management, Cloud Management, log analytics, APM, or Network Monitoring.
