Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Vehicle Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our support and sustainment structure, you will be responsible for supervising or operating heavy vehicles to transport personnel and cargo over varied terrain and roadways.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate all-wheel vehicles and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Manage the loading, unloading, and safety of personnel being transported.
  • Oversee and check the proper loading and unloading of cargo on vehicles and trailers.
  • Employ convoy defense techniques to ensure safe transportation.
  • Identify, correct, or report any vehicle deficiencies.
  • Prepare vehicles for movement/shipment by air, rail, or vessel.
Requirements:
  • Aged between 17-40.
  • A U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • A High School Diploma or GED.
  • Submission to background and medical screening.
  • A passing score on the ASVAB.
Training and Development:

Job training for this role requires 10 weeks of Basic Combat Training and seven weeks of Advanced Individual Training. You will spend time in the classroom and simulation, as well as over 200 hours in actual vehicles and field training environments.

Salary Range: $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
