Job Summary

Prisma Health seeks a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a midwifery specialist, you will provide comprehensive primary care services to women, focusing on preventive care, health education, and treatment of various medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide routine check-ups, health screenings, and vaccinations to women of all ages
  • Conduct thorough medical histories, physical examinations, and order diagnostic tests as needed
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for various medical conditions, including pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care
  • Collaborate with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Participate in patient education and health promotion activities

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Midwifery from an accredited program
  • 2 years of full-scope midwifery practice experience
  • South Carolina Official Recognition Nurse Practitioner - NLNP certification
  • South Carolina Prescriptive Authority and Controlled Substance license
