Position Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Massachusetts Licensed Site Professional (LSP) for a senior-level role to drive the growth of our New England operations. The successful candidate will be a proactive and strategic thinker, eager to influence both local and corporate growth initiatives. This position offers the opportunity to establish a specialized practice area within Terraphase, utilizing our advanced operational and technical resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage site investigation and remediation projects in accordance with Massachusetts regulations.
  • Provide LSP certification for Massachusetts Contingency Plan (MCP) projects.
  • Deliver technical and project management leadership for various projects nationwide.
  • Identify and cultivate business opportunities with both new and existing clients.
  • Manage client relationships effectively.
  • Lead project management efforts.
  • Recruit and develop key personnel to support business growth.
  • Formulate and implement strategies for expansion.
  • Prepare project cost proposals and other essential deliverables.
  • Lead responses to national Requests for Proposals (RFPs).

Candidate Profile

  • Must possess LSP Certification.
  • Advanced degree in Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in the environmental sector.
  • Expertise in state and federal regulatory frameworks is essential.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the consulting industry, including knowledge of clientele and environmental regulations.
  • Demonstrated project management experience and business development capabilities.
  • Experience with Per- and Polyfluorinated Substances (PFAS) is preferred.
