Location: Remote or Eastern United States
Overview: KMA Human Resources Consulting is assisting in the recruitment of a Senior Automation Engineer for a prominent client in the energy sector. This role can be performed remotely within the Eastern United States.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or an Associate's degree with relevant design experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in control systems engineering, with 7-10 years being preferred.
- Proficient in PLC programming, including PID development and troubleshooting, particularly with Allen-Bradley systems.
- Strong understanding of industrial processes, control integration techniques, and Motor Control Center design.
- Demonstrated project management capabilities, including effective time management, scheduling, and cost tracking.
- Proficient in standard computer applications and AutoCAD.
- Willingness to travel periodically to various sites, including monthly visits to the client’s main office.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive salary range: $120,000 - $150,000.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct PLC programming, program integration, panel design, and instrument selection.
