Position Overview

The Arc of Cumberland and Perry Counties is seeking a dedicated Program Specialist to manage various residential facilities for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). This role will be based at our central office.

Key Responsibilities:

The Program Specialist will be responsible for providing oversight and guidance for the assigned residential program(s), ensuring adherence to state laws, Federal Waiver guidelines, HUD standards, and Pennhurst regulations as applicable. Candidates should possess relevant knowledge and experience in managing group homes for adults with I/DD, as outlined below.

Qualifications (as mandated by state regulations):

(1) A master's degree or higher from an accredited institution and a minimum of 1 year of experience working directly with individuals with intellectual disabilities or autism.

(2) A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and at least 2 years of experience working directly with individuals with intellectual disabilities or autism.

(3) An associate's degree or 60 credit hours from an accredited institution and 4 years of experience working directly with individuals with intellectual disabilities or autism.

Benefits: Full-time employees are eligible for health, dental, and vision insurance, 3 weeks of annual leave during the first year, a retirement plan, life insurance, long-term disability coverage, and a comprehensive paid training program.

Compensation: Starting salary is $24.55 per hour.
