Job Overview

Panna Knows is seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized diagnostic imaging exams, ensuring safe patient care and adhering to established Medical Imaging requirements and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Obtain and examine requisitions for radiographic procedures to ensure awareness of requested studies and patient conditions.
  • Consistently produce high-quality mammograms and radiographs.
  • Question patients before procedures to obtain relevant information and document accordingly.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of human structure and function, patient care, positioning, and radiographic exposure principles.
  • Operate mammographic and radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images.
  • Perform basic nursing functions in regard to patient care.
  • Adhere to MQSA standards and departmental schedules.

Requirements:

  • Associates Degree or higher preferred.
  • Mammography experience preferred.
  • Valid New York State license to practice Diagnostic Radiography.
  • Valid and current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification in Diagnostic Radiography and Mammography.
