We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Donation Attendant to join our team at Goodwill Industries International Inc. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for leading an exceptional customer and brand experience, promoting sales, and ensuring the efficient processing of donations.
Key Responsibilities- Accept and process donations from customers, providing outstanding customer service and ensuring a positive experience.
- Label and organize donations in the production room or sales floor, adhering to our quality standards.
- Offer receipts to donors and ensure accurate documentation of donations.
- Identify and handle hazardous materials, providing safe disposal options to customers.
- Assist with loading and unloading donations, maintaining a safe and efficient workflow.
- Conduct daily safety inspections on company equipment and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Perform floor care duties as needed, maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
- Participate in cross-training and adapt to changing business needs.
- Model Goodwill's core values: Trust, Collaboration, Engagement, Ownership, and Innovation.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to pass a forklift certification class and operate equipment safely.
- Proficient in English language, both written and spoken.
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Pass a background check and drug screen, as required for the position.
