About the Role

The Solar Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all technical designs and energy models from acquisition through Commercial Operation Date (COD). This role includes managing technical Requests for Information (RFIs), interfacing with utilities and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) to support interconnections, and acting as the internal subject matter expert.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage all technical designs and own energy models from acquisition through COD.
  2. Oversee technical RFIs and responses during construction.
  3. Interface with utilities and AHJs to support interconnections and achieve COD.
  4. Facilitate communication with internal leadership.
  5. Collaborate with the Project Delivery team to respond to third-party financing deliverables.
  6. Off-board projects to the designated Asset Manager at COD.

Requirements

  1. 5-7 years of experience in solar construction and/or project management.
  2. Impeccable integrity and glowing references.
  3. Leadership skills to support the technical delivery of projects.
  4. Organizational skills to manage critical deliverables across multiple teams/projects.
  5. Communication skills to navigate internal and external reviews and reporting.
  6. Extensive background in reviewing and interpreting Independent Engineering Reports, Purchase Power Agreements, Interconnect Agreements, and EPC Agreements.
  7. Experience managing non-ministerial permitting preferred.
  8. Basic understanding of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, communication networks, and service procurement preferred.
