Unit Manager/Director - RN Opportunity

Genesis HealthCare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Unit Manager/Director - RN to join our team at West Reading Nursing and Rehab. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and achieving positive clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and direct the overall operations, coordination, and direction of nursing and patient care for an assigned nursing unit.
  • Ensure patient care delivery is consistent with Genesis HealthCare's mission, vision, values, and policies, as well as state and federal regulations and licensing requirements.
  • Collaborate with staff, physicians, rehabilitation therapy, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients on assigned nursing units.
  • Manage human resources in assigned units, including limiting overtime and agency personnel, recruiting and orienting staff, assessing work performance, and implementing disciplinary action when necessary.
