Deli Department Operations Manager

About This Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Deli Department Operations Manager to join our team at Kroger. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales growth, and maintaining a safe and clean shopping environment.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you must have strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You should be able to analyze data, make informed decisions, and prioritize tasks to meet business objectives. Additionally, you must be able to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and vendors.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, resolving issues, and promoting products.
- Sales Growth: Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, including visual merchandising, pricing, and promotions.
- Operations: Oversee daily operations, including inventory management, supply chain logistics, and labor scheduling.
- Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of deli department associates, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities.
- Store Standards: Maintain high standards of store appearance, cleanliness, and safety.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including grocery, produce, and meat, to ensure seamless execution of company initiatives.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: 2+ years of retail management experience, preferably in a deli or food service environment.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation:
The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
