Job Overview

Position Summary

The Program Manager is responsible for supporting the organization, planning, and execution of the Med-Metrix Suite of Products and Services. This role requires collaboration with a skilled team of Med-Metrix Subject Matter Experts who possess operational expertise in Healthcare Finance and Revenue Cycle Services.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans that outline and sequence the necessary activities for successful project implementation.
  • Create a timeline for project completion that efficiently allocates resources to various tasks.

Project Execution:

  • Lead cross-functional teams throughout the organization, ensuring clear and professional communication with internal members and clients through various channels.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions with stakeholders and subject matter experts to assess current processes and propose enhancements for future operations.
  • Set objectives, identify challenges, and make informed decisions in a dynamic environment.
  • Oversee multiple projects across various departments, ensuring all team members have the necessary information and resources to perform their tasks effectively.
  • Maintain proactive communication and manage expectations of both internal and external stakeholders by organizing regular updates, documenting meeting notes, identifying next steps, and diligently following up on outstanding tasks until project completion.
  • Regularly review the quality of work produced by the project team to ensure adherence to project standards.
  • Manage deliverables in accordance with project timelines, prepare and present project status updates, and escalate issues to executive sponsors and stakeholders as needed.
  • Demonstrate the ability to connect various initiatives and past projects, think strategically, and mentor colleagues.

Project Escalation:

  • Guide teams through high-priority risk situations by fostering a sense of urgency across multiple internal and client cross-functional teams.
  • Act as the primary point of escalation for critical implementation-related risks and facilitate their prompt resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards when handling patients' protected health information (PHI).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Management.
  • PMP certification is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience in Revenue Cycle is essential.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management capabilities.
  • Ability to positively influence others to achieve organizational goals.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Innovative mindset to develop unique solutions for operational improvements.
  • Collaborative approach to work effectively with others in achieving goals and resolving issues.
  • Strong decision-making skills, assessing situations to determine urgency and risks.
  • Organizational skills to prioritize tasks, develop schedules, and monitor progress.

Work Environment

  • Flexibility to work outside of standard business hours when necessary.
  • Travel to client locations may be required.
