Job Description

Ultra Maritime is seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead development projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and 8+ years of experience in Mechanical Engineering Design. Strong knowledge of drafting principles and standards, including GD&T, is required. Ability to obtain a US Government security clearance is also necessary.

Desired skills include experience with test equipment design, manufacturing engineering, and project management. Proficiency with CAD tools, product lifecycle management, and Microsoft Office is also required. Good communication and presentation skills, as well as a basic level of proficiency with machine tools, are essential.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering required
  • 8+ years' experience in Mechanical Engineering Design
