Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Allergy Mixing Specialist to join our team at Ohio ENT & Allergy Physicians. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing allergy immunotherapy extracts for patients with allergies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare high-quality allergy immunotherapy extracts for patients with allergies.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of allergy extracts.
- Maintain accurate records of all allergy extracts prepared.
- Ensure proper cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
- Follow all HIPAA and OSHA safety protocols and procedures.
- Adhere to USP797 guidelines to maintain a sterile environment for mixing.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in mixing allergy extracts.
- Knowledge of allergy immunotherapy and allergy extracts.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Education and Certifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current CPR certification required.
Work Environment:
- Medical office environment.
- Work hours: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Occasional overtime may be necessary.
