Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Travel Nurse to join our team at New Season Treatment Centers. As a Travel Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our clinical teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medication to patients in accordance with physician orders and maintain accurate records.
  • Conduct daily inventory of medication supplies and ensure accuracy in accounting.
  • Safeguard medication inventory and ensure proper disposal of medical waste.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
  • Participate in CARF preparation and state audit processes to ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote patient health and well-being.
  • Provide support to patients and families in a compassionate and empathetic manner.
  • Assist with scheduling and screening patients for medical appointments.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient medical records.
  • Comply with federal and state regulations, including HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2.
Requirements
  • Current nursing licensure within the state of employment.
  • Minimum 1 year of direct patient contact experience.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Basic mathematics skills and computer literacy.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to work in an open work area with moderate everyday noise and travel up to 75% with limited notice, including overnight and multiple days.
