Position Overview:
The role involves performing maintenance and cleaning tasks to ensure the upkeep of various facilities, including classrooms, offices, and communal areas. This position also contributes to the safety and security of the college's environment.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Facilities Maintenance Associate, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
1. Sweeping and mopping floors; dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures.
2. Washing windows, walkways, and walls, as well as removing any graffiti.
3. Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, sinks, mirrors, and other fixtures using established methods.
4. Restocking supplies in restrooms and maintaining cleanliness in all assigned areas.
5. Emptying and cleaning trash receptacles; replacing liners as necessary.
6. Rearranging furniture and equipment as needed for meetings or events.
7. Managing custodial supplies and maintaining inventory levels.
8. Performing additional tasks as assigned to support the maintenance team.

Minimum Qualifications:
Experience in custodial or maintenance roles is required.
Completion of education sufficient to read and write at a level necessary for job performance.
Possession of a valid driver's license is preferred.

Knowledge and Skills:
Familiarity with cleaning and sanitizing practices, as well as safe operation of cleaning equipment.
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting items up to 50 pounds.
Strong understanding of instructions and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
Demonstrated respect for diverse backgrounds and experiences of colleagues and students.
