Job Title: Energy Storage Technician

Rev Renewables Ops, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Energy Storage Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and operation of our lithium-ion battery energy storage systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of energy storage systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Perform troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and electrical issues with energy storage systems.
  • Collaborate with the site manager to develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.
  • Monitor and report on system performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless integration of energy storage systems with other plant systems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the site manager.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in energy storage or related field, with a focus on maintenance and operations.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including lithium-ion battery technology.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on safety and quality.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with SCADA systems and MODBUS protocols.
  • Knowledge of CMMS software and experience with Maximo or similar systems.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.
