Job Overview

Position Summary:

The CNC Saw Operator is responsible for managing various cutting machines on the production floor at Medical Comfort Specialists. This role involves ensuring the safe and efficient operation of vertical band saws, table saws, CNC saws, and hand saws, while accurately cutting materials to specified lengths and dimensions.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting both written and verbal instructions in English.
  • A high school diploma is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to read and understand basic blueprints.
  • Competence in using tape measures accurately.

Experience and Competencies:

  • General knowledge of manufacturing processes is essential.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and varied hours as needed.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on achieving goals.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily checks on machinery to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Maintain a tidy workspace at the end of each shift.
  • Keep the work area organized and free of hazards throughout the day.
  • Ensure the production floor is clear of debris.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Additional Information:

  • This is a full-time, non-exempt position.
  • Standard working hours are from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday, subject to change with prior notice.
  • Overtime may be required based on operational needs.
