Job Overview

Position Summary:

The CNC Saw Operator is responsible for managing various cutting machines on the production floor at Medical Comfort Specialists. This role involves ensuring the safe and efficient operation of vertical band saws, table saws, CNC saws, and hand saws. The operator will accurately cut materials to specified lengths and measurements.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proficient in reading and comprehending written and verbal instructions in English.
  • A high school diploma is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to interpret basic blueprints.
  • Skilled in using tape measures.

Experience and Competencies:

  • General understanding of manufacturing processes is essential.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and varied hours as needed.
  • Strong attention to detail with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to perform under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily checks on machinery to ensure proper functionality.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the workspace at the end of each shift.
  • Keep the work area organized and free of clutter throughout the day.
  • Ensure the floor is clear of debris.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Additional Information:

  • This is a full-time, non-exempt position.
  • Standard working hours are from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday, subject to change with prior notice.
  • Overtime may be required as necessary.
