Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Wexner Heritage Village. As a PRN LPN, you will provide exceptional care to our residents, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide physical, emotional, and spiritual support to residents, as well as educate and support family members and caregivers.
  • Implement facility policies and procedures, coordinating nursing activities with other services provided by the healthcare team.
  • Supervise nursing assistants and ensure accurate and thorough documentation of resident care.
  • Deliver and coordinate care in an organized and flexible manner, adhering to standards of nursing practice.
  • Use problem-solving approaches to resident care, characterized by thorough data collection, analysis, planning, and evaluation.
  • Assist in identifying common recurrent resident problems, symptoms, and behavioral changes, and communicate findings to the healthcare team.
Requirements
  • Current LPN license in the state of Ohio.
  • Ability to work various shifts, including PRN shifts.
  • Knowledge of and adherence to state and federal regulations regarding care of the aging.
