About the Role:

Our client, a leader in the medical device sector, is in search of an Electrical Manufacturing Engineer to enhance its Manufacturing Engineering team. This position focuses on optimizing processes and delivering continuous engineering support, which includes resolving intricate electrical and systems challenges. The ideal candidate will collaborate effectively with production, operations, and R&D teams to facilitate the integration of new products into the manufacturing workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and evaluate electrical-mechanical prototypes.
  • Assist production and maintenance teams with troubleshooting and automation processes.
  • Design and implement fixtures to enhance production and assembly efficiency.
  • Participate in design assessments that influence risk evaluations and analyses.
  • Collaborate with the supply chain to procure necessary components.
  • Revise electrical documentation and implement process modifications.
  • Identify equipment requirements to drive manufacturing enhancements.
  • Work alongside teams to ensure seamless system integration.
  • Utilize schematics and CAD tools effectively.
  • Oversee the integration and upkeep of software and firmware.
  • Manage the initial setup processes for devices and instruments.
  • Possess foundational knowledge of programming and communication protocols.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with regulatory compliance and safety testing protocols.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • A collaborative mindset with a strong commitment to quality.
  • Proficiency in interpreting and updating schematics.
  • Experience with motors, controllers, and power supplies is advantageous.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in both electrical and mechanical domains.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
