Job Summary:

The HR People Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire employee life cycle, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, payroll processing, and employee relations. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Human Resources Administration: Oversee the entire employee life cycle, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, payroll processing, and employee relations.
  • Employee Onboarding: Coordinate onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring a seamless transition into the company.
  • Payroll Processing: Process hourly and salary payrolls, verifying regular and overtime hours, reconciling tips and commissions against POS reports, and assisting restaurant teams with issues that may arise.
  • Benefits Administration: Assist with benefits administration, including sick pay, insurance deductions, and 401K deductions, educating employees about offered benefits, and serving as a point of contact for enrollment and benefit questions.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as a resource to employees and managers, handling questions and helping to resolve work-related matters, including investigations, providing associated documentation, and escalating issues or questions as necessary.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of [estimated salary: $75,000 - $90,000] per year, depending on experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in human resources, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software and systems.
