Your Mission:
In this role, you will be responsible for bringing our employee culture to life and ensuring that every teammate has a great experience at work. You'll work closely with our General Manager and department heads to develop and implement strategic people-related initiatives.
You'll be the driving force behind creating an engaging and inclusive work environment that fosters growth, development, and fun. Your expertise in HR management, training, and communication will help us deliver top-notch service to our guests and make Virgin Hotels Chicago one of the best places to work in the hospitality industry.
The Nitty-Gritty:
- Main Responsibilities:
- Create and execute strategies to enhance the overall employee experience, including recruitment, retention, and engagement initiatives.
- Develop and manage comprehensive training programs to ensure all teammates have the skills they need to excel in their roles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes through effective HR processes and policies.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and analytics related to HR metrics, employee data, and other relevant information.
- Manage complex labor relations issues, stay informed of employment law changes, and provide guidance on compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in HR management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful HR initiatives, improving employee engagement, and driving business outcomes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with experience using HRIS systems a plus.
Salary Range:
$90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
