About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Cross Functional Representative. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, working across multiple departments, and contributing to the overall success of our store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering customer questions and assisting with product selection
  • Work across multiple departments, including customer service, sales, and stocking
  • Perform duties in multiple departments, including technical or perishable areas such as bakery, floral, and market
  • Build, stock, and maintain displays and fixtures
  • Assist with inventory control, loading, unloading, and moving product
  • Perform tasks such as slicing, packaging, labeling, rotating, merchandising, culling, and pricing product
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 6+ months of experience in H-E-B Store operations
  • Completion of Company Orientation and Safety Training
  • Ability to work autonomously and adapt to a fast-paced retail environment
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment, with frequent standing, walking, and reaching. You will also be exposed to various temperatures, humidity, and noise levels. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and manage in excess of 70 pounds, depending on the department.

Please note that it is the Partner's responsibility to never lift beyond their own safe lifting limit. If an item is too heavy to lift, push or pull, and/or carry, the Partner must break the box down into lighter, smaller, more manageable components, or ask for assistance from another Partner or a manager.
