Job Overview

Mid Hudson Subaru seeks a highly skilled Financial Services Manager to optimize sales and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of finance and insurance products, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with sales teams and customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Protect gross profit by arranging financing that minimizes outside impacts on selling margins.
  • Establish relationships with lenders to enhance customer loyalty.
  • Generate additional income through the sales of credit insurance, vehicle service contracts, GAP coverage, and maintenance plans.
  • Maintain control of paperwork until it is ready for general office processing.
  • Manage all paperwork related to vehicle sales, including obtaining customer signatures and securing payoff and insurance information.
  • Convert cash deals to finance arrangements.
  • Build and maintain good working relationships with multiple finance sources, including manufacturers.
  • Process finance and lease deals accurately and fairly through financial sources to secure approval.
  • Cultivate business in an ethical and professional manner.
  • Process federal, state, and dealer paperwork related to vehicle transactions.
  • Understand and comply with regulations affecting new- and used-vehicle and finance departments.
  • Complete necessary paperwork for vehicle sales and leases efficiently.
  • Verify correct title, lien information, taxes, etc., before forwarding to accounting.
  • Obtain and maintain current state insurance license, completing continuing education as needed.
  • Provide customers with detailed explanations of manufacturer and dealership service procedures and policies.
  • Manage alternative finance source programs to ensure multiple options are available.
  • SOURCE INSURANCE COMPANIES FOR PAPER.
  • Maintain insurance files.
  • Develop and implement a program ensuring 100% turnover to the F&I department.
  • Keep sales force and managers informed about finance and lease programs.
  • Train sales staff on financing, insurance, and extended service benefits.
  • Collaborate with sales managers to achieve reasonable profits from every sale.
  • Coordinate finance forecasting with sales department forecasts to achieve desired penetration levels and income.
  • Ensure collection of all finance and insurance fees.
  • Process credit applications.
  • Prepare reports on finance penetration.
  • Attend manager meetings.
  • Handle rate quotations.
  • Establish guidelines for working with customers to maximize satisfaction.
  • Supervise and train designated backup to ensure continued efficiency and profitability during absences.
  • Maintain adequate and current contract and paperwork supplies for car deals.
  • Project a professional appearance and maintain a clean, professional work environment.
