Job Title: Quality Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to join our team at Parea Staffing Solutions.

Job Summary:

The Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement quality improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality engineering disciplines to ensure quality objectives are met.
  • Engineer, document, and communicate quality deliverables as defined by internal procedures, customer requirements, and industry standards.
  • Report APQP status and issues that may impact quality or financial performance.
  • Interface with customers and suppliers on quality-related issues.
  • Lead problem-solving activities for internal and external quality issues.
  • Establish and maintain PPAP/APQP documentation to meet customer and AIAG requirements.
  • Ensure Core Tools are revised as required, especially after corrective actions.
  • Review, disposition, and document discrepancies for supplier sample submissions.
  • Coordinate and prepare required inputs and outputs for customer product submissions.
  • Monitor supplier quality initiatives and document performance.
  • Comply with the Business Operating System, Quality methodologies, and company objectives.
  • Attend Change Control meetings and report on assigned systems.
  • Supervise and manage Quality Coordinator daily activities.
  • Document all activities as required.

Requirements:

  • Four (4)+ year degree in Quality Control or ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 3 years in automotive manufacturing environment as inspector or quality supervisor.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in supplier & customer related quality engineering role.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in AQP on new products in automotive industry.
  • Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action Completion.
  • Core tools (PPAP, SPC, FMEA, MSA, APQP, Control Plan).
  • Demonstrate competency in metrology, blueprint reading, statistical techniques, and color/appearance measurement.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality on products, services, and processes.
