Opportunity

The Senior Manager - Accounting & Operations will play a pivotal role in enhancing the accounting function's contribution to our global organization and client satisfaction. This position is an Individual Contributor role that requires collaboration across various departments to manage diverse responsibilities across multiple entities, both domestic and international.

This role will report directly to the CEO and will involve close cooperation with all organizational levels to achieve corporate objectives.

Location

This position requires presence in the Raleigh-Durham area, with a hybrid work model allowing for both in-office and remote work arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closing processes while identifying opportunities for operational efficiencies.
  • Manage the collections process and supervise accounts receivable.
  • Administer contracts, pricing, and the deal desk for both new and existing clients.
  • Handle payroll processing, including the administration of bonus and commission plans.
  • Coordinate audits, state filings, taxes, and related financial activities.
  • Provide operational support for administrative functions such as 401k, health benefits, and office management.
  • Analyze and report on financial performance monthly and quarterly for stakeholders, including the board and senior management.
  • Assist in the annual budgeting process and long-term financial strategy development.
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in a SaaS environment, particularly in accounting or a related field; SaaS expertise is essential.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; MBA or CPA is advantageous.
  • Proficient in investor reporting and managing banking relationships.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and skilled in follow-up.
  • Adept at multitasking, prioritizing, and problem-solving both independently and collaboratively.
  • Familiarity with Quickbooks, Salesforce, Excel, PowerPoint, Slack, and other business applications.
