Job Title: Cellular Therapy ICCE Clinical Director

The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Director to lead the Integrated Center for Cellular Therapy (ICCT). This is a critical role that requires a strong clinical and business acumen, with the ability to drive growth and innovation in the field of cellular therapy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan for the ICCT, aligning with MUSC's overall goals and objectives.
  • Lead a team of clinicians, researchers, and administrators to deliver high-quality patient care and advance the field of cellular therapy.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial sustainability and growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in cellular therapy, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement.
Requirements:
  • Board-certified medical degree (MD, DO) required; additional graduate degree preferred.
  • Minimum of seven years managerial experience in a leadership role.
  • Substantial experience in a complex academic medical center environment.
  • Strong clinical and business skills, with the ability to lead and manage a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
