MUSC Health is seeking a seasoned healthcare professional to lead our Ambulatory Services team. As the Executive Director of Ambulatory Services, you will be responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership for our outpatient Oncology services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve patient care and clinical effectiveness
  • Lead a team of oncology directors and managers to achieve quality outcomes and patient satisfaction
  • Collaborate with physician leadership to drive organizational initiatives and improve patient experience
  • Oversee operations in five clinics, including infusion and radiation therapy
  • Develop and manage operating budgets, financial management, and compliance
  • Lead change management initiatives and delegate responsibility appropriately
  • Use data to drive performance improvement and optimize patient care
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in healthcare-related field (e.g., Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or MBA)
  • Seven years of management experience in ambulatory care leadership or clinical area
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with physician leaders and talent in team selection and mentoring
  • Proven ability to lead change, organize teams, and delegate responsibility
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Nursing background and strong oncology operations leadership experience
  • Knowledge of oncology regulatory and accreditation compliance experience
  • Joint Commission and Magnet experience
