Position Overview: As a Lead Bakery Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of the bakery department, ensuring that all processes align with company standards and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide the bakery team in the absence of the department manager, maintaining operational efficiency.
  • Adhere to all corporate policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
  • Utilize retail management systems to support various job functions, including productivity tracking and scheduling.
  • Foster a respectful and fair workplace environment for all team members.
  • Achieve or surpass management planning benchmarks.
  • Enhance your knowledge of bakery products, including breads, pastries, cakes, and beverages.
  • Assist in training new associates as needed.
  • Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with company standards.
  • Ensure effective communication within the department and across the organization.
  • Support safety protocols and report any necessary equipment repairs or maintenance.
  • Uphold sanitation and food safety standards consistently.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication, customer service, and sales skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to learn various tasks and technical requirements.
  • Must meet age requirements for specific job functions.

Physical Requirements:

  • Proficient in using computers and communication systems essential for job functions.

  • Capable of performing repetitive motions while standing or walking for the majority of the shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 40 pounds occasionally.

  • Decorate and personalize cakes as required.
  • Manage product displays and inventory effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of production and inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with cleaning and sanitation protocols.
